Day 1 - 63 Miles St. Paul to Faribault

Day 1 - Ron prepared a hearty breakfast to fuel us for the day's journey. We were on our bikes shortly after 7:00 with lots of wonderful trails and sunny skies.



Due to last nights thunder storms, we rode past, through and around many downed trees.


After 48 miles we had a great lunch with midwestern classic of cheese curds and a new original: ruben quesadilla in Northfield.


After arriving at our daily final destination of Faribault before 2:00, we decided we still had the time and energy to ride to Legacy golf course and walk the front nine with our all-in-one club. After that we were truly spent!!!


We finished the day by enjoying a local Brew and a Walleye meal.

By the way - it seems that Jamie is not missing us too much since she's had several visitors come to see her while she is staying with Cathy's parents.
