Woke up at 5am to the sound of thunder and rain. The beauty of a weather app is that we can check the radar. The idea of a leisurely start to the morning subsided when we discovered the storm should end by 6am and we had a five hour window to get to Rochester before the next storm. We were on the road shortly after 6. We traveled the rolling hills with grey skies and some dark clouds, making it without incident to Rochester with the opening up of blue skies!
We were very lucky to experience the great street party Rochester has downtown each Thursday.
We enjoyed the rest of the evening catching up and reminiscing with Tim's buddies from the past: Daryl, Donna, Tim, Cathy, Jackie and Rick.
