We had a late start to ride due to sleeping in, 😊 a bit of foggy weather 😉 and another flat tire😟!
At 11:11 we were on a nice road where all around us was green rolling hills!
Interesting how there are acres upon acres of pine trees planted and here you can see how the sap is being harvested. I’m not sure how it is used… yet. 🧐
Lots of opportunities to buy trinkets and souvenirs.
The city is also known for the high cliffs overlooking the ocean, beach and town. The top of the cliff is a large ledge that jets out. There are many businesses and homes on those precarious positioned locations. Zoom in the photo to check it out. 😳
We have been so impressed by the size of the beaches. You have to cross a huge length of the pristine sand to get to the water. Not far from this location if where 10 years ago hawaiian Garrett McNamara broke the world record for the biggest wave ever surfed, with 30 meters height!!!
This beautifully tiled alter is in the entryway arch to the walled city.
These cobblestone streets are visited daily by tourists coming to shop, eat and explore this piece of history.
