Cycling Day 9 Ericeira - Sintr

Beautiful morning for a bike ride. We started along the coast, but very soon we were climbing hills to inland regions. 

Stopped at the side of the road by a low wall/ embankment to find some shade for a short break. 

11:11 photo today was right when we were arriving to our destination: the historical village of Sintra. 

Wonderful leisurely and healthy lunch. 

We took a tour of the National Palace of Sinatra. It is the original medieval palace and a favorite with the early Portuguese rulers.
