What a feeling to wake up and know we have time to lounge around! Teresa, our gracious host and an artisan potter, has a great selection of hand crafted mugs.
We enjoyed our morning coffee in a one of a kind mug on the wonderful screened in back patio with Sweetie the cat mostly ignoring us. 
We got a tip to visit the health food store to get a hand crafted organic smoothie. Of course we obliged and in that shop saw more of Bud’s cement counter handiwork. We were enjoying our smoothies just after 11:11.

A leisurely walk around town gave us time to check out the park, many shops, art galleries, and the museum before making it to New Smyrna Brewery for a tasting flight.
After a relaxing afternoon both in town and at Teresa’s comfortable home we met Jen for dinner at The Third Wave. Bud orchestrated this dinner engagement, but it felt like we were meeting up with an old friend. It was a special evening with delicious food, great atmosphere, fun conversation and a new friend.
